What we cannot do: advise on your specific analysis. We cannot tell you which test suits your data, whether your study design is sound, or what a result means in your field. Those questions need a statistician who knows your context — usually someone at your institution, or your field's methods literature.

Before you write
Your answer differs from my textbook or from SPSS
Usually a convention difference rather than an error. The three most common causes: quartiles (we use R type 7 / Excel PERCENTILE.INC; Minitab and some textbooks differ), sample versus population standard deviation, and t versus z critical values. Send the exact inputs and both answers and we will tell you which convention accounts for the gap — or fix it if the fault is ours.
I think a calculation is wrong
Please report it immediately, with the exact values you entered and the result you got. Arithmetic errors are treated as the highest priority on this site and are fixed ahead of everything else.
Do you store the data I paste in?
No. Every calculation runs in your browser using JavaScript on the page. Nothing is transmitted, logged or stored. The only things kept locally are your theme preference and your cookie choice, in your browser's own storage.
Can I cite DatrixCalc in a paper?
We would rather you did not. These are educational instruments, not validated statistical software. Reproduce the result in R, Python, SPSS, SAS or Stata and cite that. Using this site to check your working is exactly what it is for; using it as the analytical authority in a publication is not.
Will you add [tool]?
Very possibly. Twenty-seven instruments are queued and requests move things up the list, particularly when the same one comes in more than once. Send it through with a note on what you would use it for.
Can I use your content elsewhere?
Not wholesale — the explanatory text is original and copyrighted. Short quotes with a link back to the source page are welcome. For anything larger, ask first using the form above.
What happens to your message
The form emails your name, address, chosen subject and message to our inbox so we can reply. That is its entire purpose — no mailing list, no sharing, no advertising use. Messages are kept only as long as needed and then deleted. The hidden field in the form is an anti-spam honeypot: real visitors never see it, bots fill it in, and anything arriving with it completed is discarded. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
